If an event requires getting dressed up, Kristina is all over it. She will spend time doing her nails, making sure she has all her accessories coordinated, looking at herself in the mirror to make sure every hair is in place, etc. And as much as she loves climbing trees and poles, playing with bugs, snakes and lizards....she is such a girly girl.
Tonight was the Father / Daughter Dance at our local church where Kristina goes to Sunday school in preparation for making her First Communion in a few months. The dads go knowing that this is more of a social event for the girls to run around and play/dance while the guys hang around and talk, and in Jon's case, Jon begs Kristina for a dance or two.
Overall, both had a good time and here are some photos of the evidence!
(NOTE: Yes, I'm aware that this blog is missing Thanksgiving, my 50th Birthday, Christmas/New Years, and Kristina's 8th Birthday. I am behind, to say the least! I appreciate the emails and requests from family and friends wondering, "hey, are you still doing the blog?" ~ my intention is to finish my updates soon. Life is, let's say, a tad busy these days!)
