I'll soon write a post about our entire trip to FL but wanted to dedicate this post strictly to Disney. (Plus, my camera died as we were walking out the Exit Gates of the Magic Kingdom so we had to make a Costco run at the end of the week as I couldn't live any longer without a camera attached to my hand!)
For those of you going with your wee ones, here's a list of Kristina's faves....and others she could live without:
FAVES:
* Dumbo Ride
* Magic Carpet Ride
* Monorail
* Carousel
* It's a Small World
* Toon Town Roller Coaster
* Mickey's House
* Minnie's House
* Mickey's Raceway
* Train (they closed it down 2 minutes before we got in line "due to the Fireworks Show." UGH!!)
FORGETABOUTIT:
* Pirates of the Caribbean (got to the front of the line and left with screaming child in arms)
* Tiki Room (Kristina loves birds, but the darkness, loud thunder and Tiki Gods ruined it. More tears.)
* Snow Whites Scarey Adventure Ride
* Fireworks Show at end of day (hard to comfort as the "boomers" could be heard throughout the park)
ON THE FENCE:
* Jungle Boat Ride (too loud - spent the majority of the ride with hands over ears)
I'll let the following photos speak for themselves.
Riding on the Monorail into the Park. Who-hoo!!
We made it...beautiful day in the 70's and not too crowded!
Daddy, Kristina, Grammy and Poppy enjoying the Magic Carpet ride.
Huge hippo saying hi...and Kristina covering her ears. "Too loud!"
Kristina enjoying her first "Mickey Ice Cream Pop." YUM.
Kristina had no problem going right up to Donald Duck. LOVE this picture!
Family photo in Liberty Square.
Cinderella's Fairy Godmother in person - wow!!!
All of us enjoyed the Carousel.
Favorite Ride (and longest line - 45 min): DUMBO!!
Taking a nap on Grammy's "shelf". :)
A rare "quiet" moment with their only Granddaughter.
Admiring her new Mickey Mouse ears!
"It's a Small World Afterall...." - Russia display.
Kristina was so very excited to see "Cindawella's Castle"!!
Making herself at home in Minnie Mouse's house.
A crazy driver hanging out to wave to Daddy!
While the Park rocked with "boomers", one of the shop sales people engaged Kristina in a game to divert her fears. Very sweet of him.
It truly is wonderful to see "The Happiest Place on Earth" through the eyes of a 3 year old!
Sidenote (for Kristina to reference when she brings her kids someday!):

Child Admission: $74.00 + tax
Parking: $14.00
Mickey Mouse Ears: $11.95

I was waiting for your post. I am so glad you had a great trip. Love the pictures. Kristina is getting so big. She's a pretty girl. Enjoy all the cherished memories you all made.
Adorable! Love the one of her with her ears on, looking at herself in the mirror. Alexander seriously hated Pirates, too. ;) Happy Thanksgiving!
It looks like a wonderful trip! I love the pictures. As for me, I've lost my camera usb cord in the move and cannot upload any pictures to my computer :(. I promise to update when my cord has been recovered!
fun fun fun... i am giggling re: pirates -- at least you were wise enough to get out of line. there was NO LINE when we were there the next day and i spent the ride cuddling and singing into the ears of one very scared 3 year old. just had no clue it would be so scary. the barnyard coaster in toon town was our fav - so bummed we totally missed each other there but SUPER glad to see you had such a marvelous time!! :) hope to see you soon! (april at the very least!)
She looks so cute in her ears. It sounds like a great trip. I was wondering how she did with the characters. A little nervous if Colby would get scared. We can't wait to go to Disney with him. Maybe next year.
