It's Daddy's Birthday!

Let me just say...there are absolutely no secrets with a 4-year old in the house!  After I told Kristina to help me hide daddy's birthday gifts yesterday (what was I thinking?), she proceeded to show him where they were shortly afterwards.   Even tho' they were small gifts, it gave me insight of what I can tell her and what I can't...

Since today was a work day, we had a low-key birthday celebration.  Kristina and I ran errands after work/school to buy food to cook up for dinner and then went to Baskin Robbins to buy a small ice cream cake.  (Sorry, hon -- no energy or time to whip up a triple decker chocolate fudge cake for you!)

Everything was yummy and a messy kitchen remains to be cleaned.  And the best part of the evening for the birthday boy?  Cuddling up with his daughter to watch "SpongeBob Buddies" where both of them ended up snoring together.
