The Latest "Buzz"

For Kristina's faithful followers who have waited patiently for photos of her self-styled haircut, finally -- here they are!
Kristina sporting her newly cut bangs...and Jumbles her kitty!
Hard to tell, but a chunk of hair (3" in length) was cut across along the bottom of the ear line...

Oh, if looks could kill!
OK, so did mommy over-react?  Yes, I'll admit it but I was working on about 2 hours of sleep from the previous night and all I could think of when I saw all this hair on the floor was "oh my God -- the wedding is only 2 weeks away!"

This has been a learning experience for me.  A month ago, Cruise Director Barbie got a haircut and I took away the kiddie scissors after initially thinking it was her own hair on the floor.  Apparently, for her self-buzz, she found another pair...
Barbie's hair can be found next to Kristina's right foot....  Oye....

She doesn't look to bad ... you can hardly tell and I'm sure that your stylist will do wonders the day of the wedding!!!

Overreact ... no way ... I find there are times I'm soooo very surprised by something the boys have done that I am probably over reacting but just the shear shock of what they came up with puts me into a tail spin... those are the moments that the calmer, cool headed Papa has to step in!!!

Oh, not bad at all... a curling iron will hide it all. She will be lovely! And, no, I don't think you overreacted at all.

With that beautiful face, who would know her hair is uneven? She is a sweatheart. All will be well for the wedding. Don't worry, Mom. :)

Love you!!

I'm sure the curls can hide it but yes, I would have reacted the same way I'm sure. These kiddos always find new ways to keep us on our toes. What's next?? Yikes! Preschool! Colby withdrawal. What am I going to do???

Mama.... I would have completely over-reacted too. Wedding or no wedding! I think that's natural.

She's as gorgeous as ever!! I call her hair "spun gold".

Oh my . . . maybe mullets are coming back in style? . . .

I think it's a rite of parenthood we all have to go through . . . You're not alone!

Really, it will surely look fine for the wedding!

Oh Laura, her hair is still adorable! But I totally would have over-reacted too. This is my worst nightmare. I am constantly hiding sissors from Lexi and won't let her watch any of her brothers get hair cuts because I KNOW she will try to do the same thing. One of my boys thought he was a barber for a while and cut his and anyone else who would sit still long enough. Ugh! (He also did a number on his cute clothes, so watch out.) While reading your last post, I could feel the anxiety and almost cried right along with you. I am soooo relieved to see it wasn't all that bad and the good thing about kids' hair is that it grows back pretty fast.

P.S. The photo of her curls in the back was stunning!

Funniest story-- I love it! That is why she was so good and sitting so still for the pro cut... she was taking notes!!)

Just as I suspected: She is still as cute as can be! The good thing is that hair grows back. When I was in 6th grade, I decided to cut my own bangs - I cut them almost up to my hairline. That looked much less cute on me than it does on Kristina!

She is just adorable and her style and independence shine right on thru and she can strut her stuff with any cut for certain!! Sorry for the emotional strife on her mama!!
A little flower tucked behind that ear or a cute little headband and she's all set!
Hope you get some sleep soon, friend...
