I cooked up a tender beef filet, corn on the cob, and roasted garlic potatoes. For dessert, Kristina and I whipped up a batch of brownies. Seriously, I'm not a Julia Childs and don't pretend to be ~ but for a special occassion, I'll try anything. I'll let the photos tell the story of daddy's birthday...

Looks like a huge success! It's amazing how different birthdays and just about everything else are now with Colby to help celebrate. What a joy! Daddy looks very happy!

It is so heartwarming to spend your husband's birthday with your daughter. She seems like such a happy girl. Both you and your husband give her so much comfort and love. Will you adopt anymore children or will this be your one and only?
That's our favorite song!!! The boys sing "Happy Birthday" all the time ... they love it!!! Stephen's birthday is 8/23 so we are getting excited to sing to Papa and blow out the candles!!!
