Dr. Boris was fantastic. He gave Kristina a clean bill of health and knows we have an appointment with an international adoption pediatrician a week after we get back. An hour later, Jane, our agency rep here in Moscow, came over to prep some Embassy paperwork.
Kristina loves her yougart and oatmeal!
We spent the rest of the day relaxing together as it was raining out and since Kristina already endured so much stimulation the day before, we figured we'd stay in for the most part.
JD's mom gave us this "Baby" pin on the way to the airport. This pin was pinned on JD when he was being discharged from the hospital when he was born. We pinned it on Kristina when she was "discharged" from the orphanage!
We ventured out around 7pm and went to dinner at TGIF's (Fridays). What? American food while in Russia? Yes -- and it was welcomed. After 30 days here, we went for ease and comfort. Kristina did well in the restaurant. We walked along Novy Arbat until our feet hurt and then called it a night. By 10pm, Kristina went to bed and slept until 7am. Stirred for a few minutes and fell asleep again until 9am. Yes --- so far she's got Cassidy/Deary genes ~ she likes to sleep!!!!

Highlight of my day: unsolicited kisses which Kristina is generous in giving me.

The pic of Kristina kissing her mamma says it all - priceless! Beautiful family! JD is a natural, and I love the story behind the Baby pin.
LOVE the family picture in Moscow. I had to laugh a little reading about the rushing with the packing to go home. So much wait time for Ekat and last minute rush. Ekat families have to be flexable. Hope the flight home goes smoothly. It must feel great heading home with your daughter after your month in Russia. Beth
My gosh! She is a beauty! You must be on cloud nine!
