First Hearty Giggles

There is nothing quite like the laughter of a child...something we never heard before from our little angel. We've been able to get a quick giggle, a smile, or "that look" -- but not a true belly laugh. Until today.

Papa was rocking her back and forth in a red laundry tub and then he found her spot --- both sides of her abdomen. She buried her head in her lap and LAUGHED continuously. I was blessed to get it on video and I'm not sure which is funnier: her laugh or JD's laugh in amusement!

After than, she bawled her eyes out when the caregiver came to get her: truly some wonderful family time.

Here's a picture of K wearing her new packback that we put her books and coloring pens in. We want her to become familiar with it for the plane ride.

Thank you, Uncle Sauchuen, for my Kangaroo backpack!!

Dearest Laura -

Your pictures mean so much to everyone who reads your blog - and that's A LOT of people! Please keep posting. Everyone is counting down the days to when we get to see the front of her precious little face.

Little ones laughing is so wonderful. She is so ready to break out and be with her Mommy and Daddy. The backpack is so cute and what a great idea.

Isn't it music to your ears? (I was really hoping there was video to accompany this post!) That would make a great "ringtone" for the cell phone she enjoyed so much!

Oh my goodness - she is so cute. Her hair is beautiful. You are going to have so much fun fixing it. I LOVE putting Karsen's hair up only to have her pull the rubberbands out as soon as she can (hehe). Do we have to wait until you get back to see her face or can you show it once you have your court date? I am so anxious to see her.
