We are staying in an apartment on the 16th floor in the middle of Ekat. We are equating this experience so far as "Survivor - The Ekat Island" -- but more of that to come in future posts.
In a few hours, we will be traveling to the countryside to see our little girl and we just can't wait!! We are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary today by seeing K for the first time in almost 7 months. Cameras and toys are ready - and so are we. Right now, we're heading out to a local supermarket to load up on some necessities.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. My sincere apologies for not e-mailing or calling you back -- the days leading up to our departure on Monday are a blur. Both of us worked everyday through Saturday, spent Easter Sunday packing up and Monday freaking out. More on all of this soap opera drama to come.
But we are here and our arms and hearts are ready to welcome this little girl who we will officially call our daughter next week. Dasvidanya for now!
Next time we come home, we'll be parents!

Qué pena que no esteis en el Park Inn para conocernos, quizás coincidamos en la casa cuna, nosostros mañana tenemos juicio y salimos para España el sábado temprano, pero volvemos el próximo fin de semana.

I'm glad you made it there ok, and can't wait to hear all of the stories that I'm sure you have to tell about it. But, more importantly, I can't wait to hear about K!
