Shortly after checking some e-mails yesterday (Thursday), ~~~ poof!! No more internet. Ugh. This is a horror to those of us in a foreign land with our only link to family/friends/blogger pals being the internet!
Here in the apartment, we are paying $10 per day for internet access. In hotels, they can charge something like $26 per 24-h0ur period or even more if in Moscow, for instance. For that amount of moola --- we expect to be able to update our blog!! Come on, priorities in life. :)
But alas -- today, our internet access guru -- a stunning girl with red hair, short dress, fishnet stockings and high-heeled boots came to our rescue. Apologies to those who are avid readers wondering "hey -- why no update?" I know I worried my mom to no end... From now on, please know that if we don't return an e-mail, call via Skype or MagicJack or at the very least post an entry to the blog....then you know we're looking for our pretty internet guru to get us back online!
